Feeling blue can sometimes be a good thing, especially if you have a car as hot as Jeff Famely's bullet-proof '95 Honda Civic hatchback, "Kool Blue." Jeff's ride has been modified to the hilt and has been making the rounds on the show car circuit with no less than 33 Best of Show wins since October 2000. Yes, the car can certainly haul asphalt with its tweaked-out engine and stop on a dime with the AEM brake setup, but the only stopping that the hatchback is doing is making spectators stop dead in their tracks at all of the events that it makes an appearance at, right?

Paint and Body Mods:
The hatchback received a mild shaving by removing the moldings, emblems and gas cap, and relocating the gas filler to the back of a taillamp assembly. A pair of S-14 headlights helps Jeff see the light. A modified Wings West body kit along with custom side inductions were also grafted on to the Civic before being covered in '99 Dodge Ram blue.
Audio/Video:
Kool Blue features an Alpine head unit, four Audiobahn video monitors, Audiobahn crossover, eight Audiobahn tweeters, four Audiobahn midrange speakers and four 15-inch Audiobahn subwoofers all installed by David Strait at CDS in Glendora, California.
Interior:
Corbeau seats with matching custom gray leather interior done by Ted Lohr. Ichibahn steering wheel, custom shifter, Auto Meter gauges and Indiglo gauge cluster are also featured. Performance: 1.6-liter VTEC engine features a fully built bottom-end by Golden Eagle Manufacturing in San Dimas, California, plus a Nology ignition system, Fluidyne cooling system, AEM fuel system, AEM air cold air intake, AEM Tru-Time cam gears, Hayame engine dress-up kit, and engine head by RPM Motorsports of Queens Village, New York, with a Hayame exhaust system. Vince Tiaga at Golden Eagle built the engine for Jeff.
